As of Monday, March 31st, I will officially be joining the
I'll be a Premier Field Engineer for the Microsoft Sharepoint platform, servicing the needs of Microsoft clients around the globe (but heavily focused in the bay area).
Depending on your perspective, this could be a step forward or a step back. It moves back into the technical arena, which is something being in a "strategic" role I've learned I just can't let go of... but this time it's customer facing, deals with a huge number of clients, and lets me see the various technical implementations around the world. I'd say the exposure more than compensates for any backward steps away from management. Then again... did I really want to be in management anyway? hmmmm....
So... so long Aruba... and thanks for all the stock options. ;)
