I'm sitting in an internet cafe right now killing time while my tires get changed. Apparently 32K miles out of the Michelin Pilot Sports that came with my car isn't too bad... but I'm now getting Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions... these things seem to currently get the best all around category in performance... but absolutely SUCK when it comes to treadlife. Joy... another $1K in tires in ~15-20K miles.... but hey... the car's all nice and broken in... I figure I've got a little tiny bit of time left in the warranty... if there's a time to play with the car, I'd say now's it. I still need new brakes, but perhaps I'll deal with that tomorrow or sometime this week.
It's stupid, but I honestly like playing with my car... it's kinda like investing in a home... all the little things you might do to make it better for you. The difference is that the equity is nonexistant... but hey... I'm investing in fun. :)
