About ennui...

Previous Entry ennui... Dec. 20th, 2003 @ 02:06 pm Next Entry

I thought about putting "bored" into the subject, but I realized that I'll probably be using that subject a lot, so I'll keep it to a minimum :P

So, after "taking care of myself" more times than I can count yesterday (okay, 5, but that's still a lot!), I'm now back to being completely bored.  I made dinner for my roommate's family before they headed off on their xmas trip... made rice krispy treats since then... and have otherwise vegetated in front of my computer system.

I don't want to work out cuz I've done that for the past 6 days, and my body needs a well earned break... and don't wanna do "other things" cuz I'm sure I'll need that later anyway... so at the moment, I'm left with nothing.

spawrhawk is on his way over to go to lunch somewhere.. but after that, who knows... I even saw LotR last night for the second time (but that was worth it too).

What I REALLY want is some cute guy who's company I appreciate to sit next to me and watch a movie on a rainy day with a fire going and some hot chocolate as we cuddle under the same blanket.  Maybe go shopping with him... someone that I just like "being" with... that I'm comfortable saying anything to... oi... I think I'm rapidly moving into relationship territory again...

May I buy you dinner?

If I didn't live so far away from you I'd be really tempted to ask you out. Combine that last paragraph with the fact you can get off five times a day and you're the perfect boyfriend. Of course, living in the desert, hot chocolate in front of a fire isn't my fantasy so much as having coffee together on the patio while we read the Sunday morning paper.

hrm... considering you replied anonymously and hence, I don't know who you are... it would be hard for me to respond to the idea of you buying be dinner... but as you said, since you live "so far away" (wherever that is), I guess it doesn't matter much... ;)
