I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER FUCKING VOLUME CONTROL!

of course you do, you're still under 30. *smirk*
It's ironic that you would shout that :-P
My favorite is Real Player (which already has a special place in hell saved for it, somewhere near Hitler), who's volume slider actually effects the *master* one for the machine - you know, the one on the task bar.
WHY WHY WHY
It would be nice if I could set my physical dial, the master one, and then just leave it them fuck alone. I use the volume sliders in iTunes and Windows Media Player a lot because sometimes I have them running when I game.
Wait, you said hardware, not software.
Me no do well morning on Monday.
preach on! i hate realplayer with the white hot intensity of 1,000 suns. Stupid thing insists on adding itself to my startup without asking, and even after I remove it, it puts itself back there everytime it upgrades.
And you give me one good reason why it has to access the internet to phone home after I finish watching porn saved on my
own hard drive.
Then I supposed you don't want one of these
