So yesterday I was flossing my teeth, as required after pretty much everything with this invisalign thing, and I was having some difficulty with a tooth that I've had filled... it's always had this little tiny bit of overhang that just generally got in the way of everything. Normally, the floss just shreds on it, and then I have to floss again to get the floss out (repeat).
Well... yesterday the inevitable finally happened: It just popped off. Fortunately, the entire filling didn't come out... just the half that was attached to the overhang. So, 1 emergency dentist appt. later, all is fixed, my lower jaw is numb, and I'm $90 poorer (thank god for insurance).
I really liked the dentist office though... digital EVERYTHING, including x-rays, which I'd never seen before. "buzz" and it's on the computer screen, and then immediately transferred to the TV in front of your chair. Fuckin awesome. :)
It's good to see that 1980's technology is finally making it to where it needs to be. :P
