In all honesty, I could have crashed out on NYE... for some reason, we were all tired... but I made it to 12:02, and then I crashed. It's not like I'm missing anything special... I mean, this whole "New Year's Eve" thing happens at LEAST once a year, right? ;)
Showboarding on sunday kinda sucked... Rebecca and Hubby had gone... Rebecca stayed at the cabin and Lee tried snowboarding. I felt bad for him... 80 mph winds don't create the best conditions for learning to board. He was a champ though, and I hope he does give it another try. Monday was WAY better. The winds were gone, but the snow stayed... so, by the time you went on a run and got back up the lift, your tracks were gone. Fresh powder, 100% of the time. I started playing on some black diamond runs.... YAY for progress :)
Two major high points:
Second was The Amazing Karma RebalancingTM. Apparently the world felt it owed me one for the shit that it's put me through this year, since playing slot machines was more like visiting ATMs. I'd walk up to one, put in $20, and walk away with $300. After the first spin. Repeatedly. For the year, I'm up like, $800. Thank you, Caesars Tahoe. My credit cards are greatful. :)
