We have been patient with you over the last few weeks. We've tolerated your lack of drive and initiative. We've accepted your laziness, and have even enjoyed the time off ourselves.
However, it is now time to get things back in gear. If you won't support yourself in your own goals and desires, we're not going to stick around either. We'll slowly reduce our influence and contribution to you over time, and the benefits that you reap from our presence will be gone. You don't have a choice in the matter... this is simply the way this works.
So, while we have long-term goals and would appreciate some returned committment, we're willing to accept a short term objective: You must go to the gym today.
I am down to about 8.5% bodyfat after make absurd changes to my diet and sticking with it, plus doing at least 30-40 minutes of cardio a day - My torso can't even begin to approach yours re: that level of definition.
Please die screaming*.
BTW I saw you at Fresh <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 You looked great :P

P.S. What is your workout regimen anyway? You have at least 2-3 months on me on the whole gym thing anyway. Hope to see you Friday night; I will behave :)
Catching colds and bullshit roomate drama have been my biggest deterrences from going to the gym regularly. You'll find your groove again. It usually takes me about a week and a half/two weeks for it to go from "omg this is a chore" to "this is fun! i feel great! I dont care I spend 2 hours a day here!"

My usual is 30 mins cardio every day, and then follow this schedule
with some minor additions, such as abs every day and maybe some lower back exercises or whatever I feel like doing.
What's this uber diet you're following? I wanna get down to 8.5%!!! :)
I am on an 8 week Hydroxycut regimine right now - caffiene, ginsing, green tea. I take 2 pills 30-45 minutes before I eat.. 6 pills a day. It's helped me shave off 2-3% BF, but it can cause grindy headachey issues. That aside - I eat:
Breakfast - 4 egg whites, 1/2 of a large whole wheat bagel w/ 1 TSB fruit jam, 1 banana.
Lunch - 1 cup baby carrots. 1 lil container thingy of fat free yogurt. 1 can plain tuna. 1 small packet of trader joe's turkey jerky.
Snack - 1 apple, 1 cup diced raw califlower.
1 28g protein, 3 Net carb post-workout bar.
Dinner: 1 Misc. Lean Cuisine TV Dinner, 1 whole wheat low carb tortilla with salsa or something on it. If I want a snack before bed, I'll have a can of string beans or corn because it's like 80 calories and mostly fiber.
I have eaten like that 5 days a week for at least a month now. I need to up the amount of abdominal workouts I do to help my torso push out against the little bit of fat I still have. Bother.
Motivation is a bitch. Good luck on finding yours.
